Kanata in his 86 vs. Taylor in his NSX, there's just no competition from the latter for the former to overtake, and him alongside Beckenbauer and Sawatari are the same, having trained in Europe in wet conditions and their skills come in handy for a time such as this. Leading up to the 6-car race for 3rd place at the back of the pack, Kanata is doing well, but the Lake Ashinoko race is no easy trounce trying to get through the paces, especially for the diminishing pack heading to the Relay Straight with Shun's GTR once again making another position raise.
Kanata's 86 vs. Shun's GTR vs. Taylor's NSX, who will be the victor of the Japanese 3-car pack?

So cool to see the great Aryton Senna being referenced his drive at Donnington is legendary. The 86 might be lacking when it comes to power but Kanata is absolutely ringing its neck to keep up.

Watching Kanata was super exciting as always. He already took over several cars and is in the rally for third place with several others. Waiting to see him overtake more. Also lol he has all of the assists turned off, if only they knew. Really liking Kyoko nee san too.

That's a good overtake from Aiba.
Kanata overtakes Taylor's 911 Carrera GTS in a similar manner to when Ryousuke overtook Sudo's Lan Evo in 2nd Stage.
Driving in that typical British climate paid off for Kanata, looking forward to how the Audi will deal with it.

Aiba's overtake on the AMG GTR was brave, but awesome. The eurobeat kicked in hard for this bit and made his successful overtake even more epic! =D
Great episode as always. The preview for next time looks to be very juicy between the Cayman and the Alpine. I'm highly looking forward to seeing how that battle for 1st place will go!

Having almost everyone except the 3 best pilots giving us their thoughts about the race is a nice touch imo,giving us less insight in what theyàre really planning makes the race more exciting to watch

The parts with the angels are always so cringeworthy. They should have just deleted those scenes and show more of the race. Otherwise a decent episode

watching this as it airs isnt really working for me. i also dont really like how much attention the other characters are also given it barely feels like kanata is the main character when you see him as much as the others.
the angels thing is also a really weird thing in the show

Yeah realize it everyone... Kanata is a beast at dogfighting! Most are aware that he's skilled to be able to keep up on a GT86 but they don't know the extent of his capabilities, they're beginning to open their eyes the moment he began overtaking them. One. By. One.
On the other hand, the Nissan GTR managed to overtake the AMG GTR, it may be down 2 cylinders from the AMG's v8 biturbo but the Nissan GTR got that AWD. A killer in this rain.
